In this view you specify search conditions based on various 窶廛istribution窶 parameters.
To include a parameter in the condition, you click the corresponding checkbox to the left of the parameter, and enter the condition, either by typing a text in the corresponding field or make a selection from a popup menu. The following 窶廛istribution窶 parameters can be used in the search:
窶｢ Local factor
窶｢ Include stochastic value
窶｢ Distribution
窶｢ Parameter a
窶｢ Parameter b
窶｢ Parameter c
As an example let us assume that you want to find all nodes in your model whose local factor is greater than or equal to 17. Then, click the checkbox to the left of the 窶廰oc.fact窶 field, and enter 窶17窶 in the corresponding field.
Note that if you instead want to find all nodes whose local factor is less than 17, this can be done using the 窶廴ark窶 options controlled in the 窶彜earch view窶. The easiest way to do this would be as follows:
1. Click the checkbox to the left of the 窶廰oc.fact窶 field, and enter 窶17窶 in the corresponding field.
2. Go to the 窶彜earch窶 view and select the 窶弑nmark excl.窶 option.
3. Click the 窶廾K窶 button.
At this stage all the nodes with 窶廰ocal factor greater than or equal to 17 will be 窶忖nmarked窶 while all other nodes will be 窶徇arked窶. Thus, you can continue simply by searching among the marked nodes.
4. Open the 窶廡ind node窶ｦ窶 dialog box once more and make sure that none of the checkboxes in the 窶廬dentity窶 and 窶廛istribution窶 views are checked.
5. Go to the 窶彜earch窶 view again and click the 窶彜kip unmarked nodes窶 checkbox.
6. Finally, select the 窶彜earch action窶 option you want, and click 窶廾K窶.
By extending this technique, you can make very complex searches through your model. You could e.g., search for nodes whose local factor is between 15 and 17 and whose distribution is 窶廰ognormal窶 etc.
